I know that a few have been slightly sanding the sides of the limbs to expose the laminations. I dont think that it's recommended but it shouldnt hurt anything.

I had an Envy with with the EZ mods and speed mods and sold it for a GT-500 and have never looked back. The envy was fast but its not a GT-500 either, people will say its elites best bow to date. I...
Well I tried to find some fun ones of me and girlfriend so here you go... I will post some of her with a bow soon enough she doesnt shoot yet. But, its only a matter of time.
Weird, I checked out the G5 website not that long ago and it looks like they have a new version of the Rev cam as well.

Come on people some of you have had to of thought about this stuff. :hammer:
It was stated on another thread some where that only 40 cudas were ordered worldwide, with that being said I wonder how many were actually made? If the cost of the dies are so pricey why not keep...
I guess I dont understand what you are asking that makes sense? If the limbs are the same length on the cuda and the GT500 which I think they are the only reason for a limb change would be to change...
It's just the stock grip plates dipped. It was posted earlier in the forum.
Even if the risers have the same specs the cams are not the same there for requiring different limbs. If one cam only deflects the limb 3" to reach the 70# mark and the other deflects the limb say...
My bother and I have made stabs just like that before but we just bought the cheep stabs and gander MT and took there carbon rods out and replaced them with old shafts.
Like this one, but you...
I have had both as well, I would rather shoot the GTO over the envy. The draw length is going to run spot on, on the GTO, and no so much on the envy. If you take the envy and set the draw length...
I would love a new bow! The GT-500 is great but I would love to try the new XLR!
This is the main reason there is a new cam on the Z28 to increase the valley and make the transition in and out of the valley more smooth.
No problem at all and sorry to come across the way I might have, but the logic behind what you where saying just didnt make sence.
The Z28 doesnt take mods either.
Wow, you are still missing the point. Just because elite changed the cam so the draw lengths are shorter, doesnt mean that your draw is shorter. It will mean that you can order a bow with a longer...
Well not really at all, because its going to be ~5 fps slower at the same draw length. So, lets say you shoot a 28.5" on the old Z and now on the new one you will have to order a 29" draw to fit...
That is kind of an understatement isnt it DB?
Camo riser back limbs, its just the opposite of AT. That is really crappy about the camo, I hate the look of real tree. It just makes the bows look cheap to me and the G1 was so good.
Hey you are not in the Winona/La Crosse area are you because I have heard the same thing from Elite dealers in this area. I usually have a buddy of mine get them straight from Chris Macdonald (from...
Some people pay more then that, I have seen 3d arrows go for over $400 a dozen. Would I pay that much?!?! Never but people still do.
Not trying to bash you or anyone else for that matter, but no one at Elite ever said a new speed was going to come out at the ATA show. It was something that was built up by this forum so if anyone...
I really dont think that we will see any new bows in Jan. Elite has never once said that there is going to be a new bow. With the line that they have out now there is no real need for a new bow...
That is a really cool idea I wonder if hot water would do the same thing and you wouldn't have to worry about catching fire. Worth a try. Thanks for the tip as well do you have anymore?!?!
