Thanks to you folks who recommended the Duravane String Tamer. Came today and it makes a big difference. I am now sold on the String Tamer. If you have a GT500 I highly recommend one.

Understand what you are saying about deer language and while I agree that we need to watch deer language. Deer can jump any string etc...I still want to optimize this bow.

Just want to say that Tim did a great job with the set up on this bow and it is grouping well and shooting fast which is why I discounted the tuning option in the initial post.
