WOW!!!! Super nice.
The GT500 is a great bow, you will be very pleased with it.
Glad to see you made the right choice, I think you will be much happier this way. You know you will get a good share of my earnings.
Neither the GTO or the GT500 will draw like your DLD. Just my opinion but the DLD is the last great bow from Mathews and not many bows will be on par with it in the draw. The GT500 with rev cams...
Very nice.
Way to go Jim.
Ray Schubert, GT500.
Did you just feel that solid thump up side your head?
:oh_really:
I think it would be mighty big of all of you to feel sorry for me and unselfishly remove your names from the list.
:luck:
The Ninja GTO is by far the best looking bow Elite has ever made. Well at least IMHO.
Mine is a 27" 64lb shooting a 320gr arrow with peep and loop at 306. My 370gr hunting arrow is pushing 290.
If you have access to a draw board and press you should be able to improve on that. You need to check your cam sync, BH, and ATA. I bet a twist hear or there will fix it.
There are some stubborn GT500’s out there. I have one but there is enough technical know how readily available to work through just about anything. Man are they sweet shooting bows.
:withoutpics:
Nice grips, how do you like them?
Looks like you are off to a good start. I start on my building next summer.
Glad you posted this. I was going to have a go on my GT500 limbs.
The GTO will not compete in the real world speed department but is has a much better BH and the draw is so much better. You will also find much less hand shock and noise.
My 27" 60lb GTO shooting a 370gr arrow was right at 280 with a peep and loop.
I have owned the Fire, GTO and now the GT500. It is very close between the Fire and GT500. The GTO shoot very nice but the draw on the Fire was much better.
The GT500 kind of combines the best...
I switched from the Rev cams to the Cuda cams and had about 13 fps increase in speed. The Cuda cams draw harder then the Rev cams for sure. It is a trade off. If you want smooth you need the Rev...
Sorry, the Cuda is no longer available. You can get the GT500 with Cuda cams and maybe still the XLR but no more Cuda's for sure.
You may be able to find a used Fire or Ice. I would recommend...
Mine where very close as well. I may have to give the slight nod to the GTO but the 500 shoots better for me.
How about something for all the whiners posting as well. Maybe a crying face with a violin in the back ground.
:thanks:
I would not call it perfection. More like obsession.
