Thanks. Will try changing DW first.
At max poundage, about 63#, it seems like I can quickly tune just about any arrow I want. However, I want to decrease the poundage for outdoor field shooting, so I took off two full turns which gets...
I don't know about the 2013, but I love my 2 Pures. In fact, I've gotten rid of all my other bows (in my sig. line, plus some non-Elites), and the Pures are all I have left, and I'm totally cool...
Honestly, I like my snow pure with snow pockets. But that's just me. I also like snow riser, black limbs and pockets. Good luck with ordering your 2013.
Same here, they are super cool about standing behind their products.
still have them...
If you want "heavy" shaft, you just can't beat the FMJ. However, in my experience, A/C arrows (I've shot ACC, FMJ, ACC Pro Hunters) but they can be bent slightly under normal hunting conditions...
I liked my Pure so much, a bought a second one and sold off my GT500 and XLR. I've killed 2 deer with my Ninja and plan to set up my other one for targets (and backup hunting bow).
I have 2 sets. $30/set or $50 for both TYD.
need for pure
IRREVERENT! A couple of grains here or there will really make no difference. I understand that THEORETICALLY, we all want absolute consistency. However, I guarantee you that you cannot tell 5-10...
For my Pure. I have #8's to trade or sell if you are interested.

Carbon Injexions = I don't know yet???? Muzzy vs. killzone vs. spitfires vs. thunderhead vs. I don't know.... Stay tuned!!!!
Heavier arrows are quieter. FWIW.
Color "machts nichts" at the end of the day. Final score is the final objective measure. That said, I'll never compete at pure scores, so I'm all about competing for the "best looking bow." At...
Buy whichever you can get for the lowest price!!!!! They are all superior bows. All differences are pretty subltle, especially for hunting usage.
400 spine,
Sorry
18 Easton Axis N-fused Carbon arrows, 27.5" throat of nock to insert, wraps, Flex Fletch Flash vanes, 16 arrows 2 white & 1 blue, 2 arrows 2 blue & 1 glow, $115

Carbon Express advertises spine tolerances for their target arrows and Maxima and Mayhem hunting arrows. I don't have a spine tester to validate their claims. Jerry at South Shore Archery spine...
I like something limbdriven (Limbdriver, AAE ProDrop, etc.) because they are easier to install and theoretically don't mess with cam timing.
I kinda want to say the same thing, especially for a bow that old and built when the company was in different hands. OTOH, if you could ship it back to them and have them take a hacksaw to it...
Stand on the top limb works.
Britesite works great on any bow too, but it does not stay on the bow when you are walking around.
What are you going to be hunting? For deer, anything that you can get to fly from your rig will be fine. You will get complete pass throughs with good shots, and plenty of penetration to kill if...
