X2^^^^^^^
Jon will make you anything you want. He's a good dude.
THANK YOU!!!!!
the shims are just filling space, that's it. The axel and bearings are taking the torsional load and keeping the cam from tilting, not the shims. A tiny variance in the shim...
To each, his own.
This is how I do it only I use a piece of fine grit Emory cloth to take just a couple thousandths off. I haven't built the amount of bows as Yeti or worked on as many as TCF but I seriously doubt...
Occasionally there's going to be a little variance in the limb cut out width. As long as you get the cable side shim the same top and bottom it doesn't really matter what you use width wise to fill...
Easy enough to figure out. Take the grip off and shoot the bow again. I didn't like the grip at all. It was too tacky and seemed like it would do just what you are talking about.

Oh, heck, I'm sorry. I was wrong, Stavos. My bad. Tippy did do the build for the guy who sold it. I got confused with another Answer that Jeremy (tippy) has. He did shoot the bow for a little while...
Dang, that's a sharp bow. My good buddy Tippy put a lot of thought into that build. Wasn't aware he was selling it and I know it only has a few miles on it. Kinda like driven by a little old lady...
I'd lose my bow out of the tree if I didn't use a wrist sling. I use a finger sling for spots and 3D.
If the bow feels good and DW & DL is good then don't worry about brace or AtA.
That's what I've been doing lately. I work to get the best tear with a bare shaft from different distances and find that once I get that, the rest is easy.
The circus is calling. Lol!
Congrats. I've only killed one of those in the 30+ yrs I've been turkey hunting.
Thanks, guys! It was a crazy couple days. Best two days hunting I've had in a long time.
But, So far, my luck hasn't been as good in Ohio. Only heard one bird way off in the distance yesterday.

That's bird #6 with a Swhacker. They do work well. I'm REALLY liking the Bullheads too. My second bird SHOULD have been another bullhead kill but somehow I missed my first shot and had the Swhacker...
NICE!!! Congrats on the toad bird.
Sorry I didn't sign up for the turkey contest but I have been cursed when I'm in any contests. 2 years ago I signed up for the AT turkey contest....no bird. First time in YEARS I didnt kill one. Last...
Yesterday morning, opening day here in WV...bullheaded this one....

That's MOOBS Rick.
nice shooting! Glad rehab is coming along.
The debil is bad azz!
Pulse is on my most wanted list. 13's should b popping up soon.
That's quite the juxtaposition. One one hand ( or IN one hand if you're OBM) we have Britney and on the the other, a new bow. Such a conflicting mix of emotions. I don't really know whether to say...
Shot a Z28
Heck. I bought an X Press after my little brain fart. Just finished putting brand new threads on the Answer and toasted the cables before I even shot the bow. Wasn't going thru THAT again. You are...
