Only if he gets back on his meds.
Very good post, and yes I should have titled it better. You and Maybee are great guys and an asset to this forum, some of you others, not so much;) That was sarcasm before anyone gets upset.
I pretty much knew this was going to be taken as a bash on Elite, it's not though. I am talking all manufacturers, I will say the Elite strings/cables are some of the worst I have seen for serving...
I really liked my Pulse, after some tweaking, tuning, and a few aftermarket additions it was a sweet shooter. Now with my Answer I know it needs a twist here and there, some aftermarket strings...
I had one on my Pulse and it was awesome. Does anyone know if one on an Answer would help over the stock angled one?
My Pulse was fast, accurate, not loud, but not quiet, fairly smooth, but just didn't do it for me. Got an Answer the other night, and so far have just done a quick set up and shot about 50 arrows. ...
Bump........
Come on someone must NEED another Elite;)
All I can say about that is SWEET!
I agree 100% that the Mathews grip sucks, I have had 4 of them. Before any of them left the shop they got Torqueless grips and different strings.
I have the same deal with my Pulse, I shoot it great, but I really don't like the grip. I have been told either you love or hate the grips on Elites, although I don't hate it. I sure as heck don't...
Well this is back up for sale, I love the bow and it's a sweet shooter but the grip kind of bugs me. I have heard on Elites that either you love the grip or hate it, I don't hate it but definitely...
Before they get to radical with changes. I would like to see them get back to doing the basics properly, like they used to. Elite used to be the best at QC, CS, and build. They seem to be getting...
If you are calling a lion hunt lame because they use hounds, it shows how clueless you are. Lions are virtually impossible to hunt any other way. People that live, work and hunt in lion country...
It sounds like there has been plenty of communication previously, and it has gotten the OP nowhere. Sometimes issues have to be aired for all to see to get a company to finally do it right.
FOB's clear great, remember FOB's are smaller than Blazers, feathers and most vanes.
Sorry I should have clarified, I was referring to the LD Pro, and regular LD.
Yup definitely sticking with heavy arrows, I am strictly a hunter so speed is not a big issue. IMO for a hunting rig, the big Mo trumps speed any day.
Why on earth would it void the warranty? The VTX strings are like a 1000 times better quality than the stock Elite strings.
If you have noise with a Limb driver you set it up wrong, it's as simple as that.
I don't know for sure, but I would guess most bows with a RG have a different attachment point on the riser. I know that's how it was on my RG bows.
It's all good, I was just being a smart a$$;)
I answered can't we all just get along, being that this thread is the result of my hijacked thread from the other day.
I definitely qualify as short DL at a whopping 26.5", I have had bows from 6" BH to 8 and to be honest I shoot the short BH bows better. Seven and under seem to really work for me. But I'm just a...
I didn't even have to sand the string stop on mine, everything had good clearance.
