I was going to sell one of my Aigils - the winter mimicry one - to raise some fun money, so I thought I'd shoot it just one last time to be sure. Sorry, too sweet of a shooter, you can't have it. ...
Matty cuts holes in the riser all the time and calls it weight savings. That's how you should market it!
Fair warning to all: I've got a number in mind that I won't let this bow go below, so you...
Don't know if $325 is a steal, but I know it gets you one heckuva bow! I already have two, and for that reason, I'm out.
Bump for one of the best of all time, a veritable killing machine!
You are correct that a #3 mod gives you 29.5 actual, and that is the case on both of mine.
Some of those posts were mine and the Aigil that I had at the time, was indeed, a pain in my arse because I couldn't get it tuned without having the rest that high. The guy I sold it to, and he knew...
I have a GTO I've been thinking of selling - 60#, 29 inches, black limbs. It's set-up but I'd probably want to pull the rest and sight off of it and put them on another Aigil I bought. I live in...
My 70# Aigil dialed down to 62 or so shoots like a dream. There are no downsides as long as you leave enough thread in the limb bolts to give purchase.
I can't believe your user name was still available!
Here's a vote for the Aigil, followed by GTO, then 8.5Z.

Could your scale be off? Didn't you say one of your Envy's was doing the same thing?
10 hours to go, 1 bid for $500. I suspect that'll be the only bid.
What kind of speeds you get out of it? Nice looking bow!
Here's each of my bow's purpose:
70# Aigil - turned down to 63# it is my primary hunting bow. A veritable killing machine. If I ever do go on that dream western hunt for elk or Canada for bear,...
I concur with the Mothwing Winter Micry. I just had an Aigil dipped in that by Randy and it looks pretty sharp with black accessories.
Looks like that #30 on ebay is about 45 minutes from my house. Hmmmmmm, send the guy a private message, drive to Brogue Pa, cash on the barrel, no shipping, no wife knowing anything, the Perfect...
I was going to bid on it, but if that piece of crap bow can't even get clean pass thru's on the elusive and last remaining Rocky Mountain Walrus, I don't want it.
Yeah, that's a wacky gig he's got going on too. At least he seems knowledgeable about his bows though. The guy selling this Z doesn't sound like he has a clue. I'm half tempted to bid on it if it...
...is on Ebay right now. Anybody else watching this thing? Looks like an 8.5 that's adjustable from 60 to 90 pounds and from 27 to 29 inches with nothing more than an Allan Wrench. Bam!
I've never heard the color thing before. At first I thought you were pulling our collective leg, but now I have to admit that from now on I'll pick my colors with speed in mind.
So I guess a...
Very nice! If you don't mind my asking, who did the Fall Leaf Dip?
I feel your pain, literally, having been diagnosed with a shoulder impingement and arthritis. I babied it for a couple of months and then just said screw it and went back to lifting weights, playing...
My Aigil is new also, but I think you're right, when you open up the draw stop you are effectively also slightly lengthening your draw as well as you extend the valley. I've found a real happy zone...
Mine adjusts alot by moving the draw stop screw towards the smaller number.
Not fair, you got prettier grips! Send me that link too if you would. By the way, about my nock point. I just flipped limbs and my loop dropped from 3/8 to just less than 1/4. I haven't shot it...
