I live 15 minutes from the Atchafalaya Swamp basin. Very close to all the SP characters. I live 1:15 hrs from Troy and see him a few times a year around town. He is a self made millionare and owns one of the largest crawfish processing plants in South LA. Troy will give you the shirt off his back, he is hilarious in camp and an incredible cook. Great guy to be around and know. I've been on gator hunts before with other people who own the land and paid for the tags. I've never killed a gator b/c guides charge $1000 + . I like to go watch the hunts. Several friends have alligator farms where they process the meat and hides. 95% of the hides are processed and tanned in Lafayette (where I live) and then sent to Europe to make purses , belts, shoes, etc.... . Ralph Lauren buys a ton of LA alligators.

Pete and the EA gang go visit Chad and Dana who live 2 hrs from me as they have property with alligators and tags to fill each year.
