Good evening, Mr. Strother. My name is Karl Randall, and I am in the process of writing my dissertation on the origins of the composite bow. As a part of my research I need to refute the silly claim that "the fastest possible arrow speed is 194 feet per second" made in the book From Sumer to Rome (page xviii). I of course came across mention of your record arrow speed of 566fps (a truly amazing feat). I have not been able to find corroboration of your record in the Guinness book of world records, and it doesn't seem to be easily available on the USA Archery website, although I of course came across your distance record. If possible, could you send a link or perhaps a contact e-mail or address of the appropriate record-keeping body so that I may cite your accomplishment properly for my paper? Thank you for your time, Karl Randall kcrandal@hotmail.com
You suck Kevin...
