I'm going to try a HHA single pin on my Xtreme (I tried one on a BT perviously and it was loud) looking for pro's and con's of the larger housing.

If you are saying the sight was loud, something had to be loose on it. These sights are not loud at all. I am not a fan of the larger scope, smaller the better if you ask me.

I mispoke- I had it on my original Synergy. I could not get the buzzing sound out of it and sold it out of frustration. As strong of a following as they have, I figured I got a lemon. I'm leaning towards the smaller bell too, looked at both at LAS the other day. The 2" just seems too large.

Well if you were older like me you might like the 2" scope housing which would work well with the 1/4" peep I use. Old eyes LOL. I was going to get an HHA DS XL5500 but at $190:eek: I think I will wait to see the new Sword single pin micro adjustable slider that comes with a light stock.

I shoot with a Viper Archery single pin that has seperate horizontal and vertical adjustments seperate from the main vertical [ Where you put your yardage scale tape] Once you stick your scale on slider, any future adj. are made with the dovetail vertical block. No more pulling scale tape.

-I've got the single pin Viper Predator. No rattles, very well built, but I use a kisser button, and look to the side of my string, when aiming, not right through it like you would with a peep sight, thus, the windage bar is too short. I called the co., and they don't have a longer bar, and won't accept a return, so I'm kinda stuck with it. Anyone needing a left hander, let me know.
