Maybe we can talk the NFAA into giving us over on a few shoots. I have shot my share of 58X and a few 59X but that 300 60X is one of the toughest things I have ever tired to accomplish in archery. Seems so simple but so hard.

Haven't shot the 60X yet with my new XLR. The first day I set my XLR up I shot a 58X. Then the next day I shot a 59X. Haven't tried since then. Currently working on my shot/release. Will start practicing vegas ends soon :freakjam:

Shot a 300 18x on the vegas round - have not tried the NFAA target yet. I think the gt 500 is still the best bow on the market:hippie:

Lol...I had no Idea what it took to win a major spot tourny. I thought i was a pretty good shot till I saw first hand what it took. I hit a couple 58's, I'll get there before I'm done shootin' a bow.

I have heard that shooting a 300, 60X could be compared to bowling a perfect 300 game. I personally have done neither, but I think the 60X is harder. I have only been shooting spots a couple of months, only shot 4 actual rounds, my personal best so far, 298, 42X.

Can shoot 60X pretty often. Indoor nationals it seems more and more shoot back to back 60X rounds each year. It does amaze me how hard it is to achive for myself. Not getting younger and its not getting any easier.

Yep, it's a frankensight, a Truball Axcel with a Spothogg bezel (small guard) with 1 pin, obviously locked down. A friend machined a bracket to hold the SH to the Axcel sight.

Since setting up my XLR for spots I've shot a 300-43x and a 300-50x. Thats with a spot-hogg, hogg it 5 pin, limb driver rest and 14 ox b-stinger stabilizer. Still tinkering with draw lengh and releases.
