Black Riser ?

Are the black risers powder coated, or anodized. I have an envy that I want to ditch the camo on, and go to a black riser, but I want it to look like the original.

The Black powercoat is actually tougher IMHO then teh camo finish,, It's actually a baked on finish I was told at around 450 Degree's.. makes for one beautiful, Most durable finish .

I have gotten lost in the woods in some thick thick brush and my black riser and limbs have come out of all of that looking brand new. The black riser finish is very, very durable. I love it.

I am for sure going to do my riser in black. I never did like camo. I just want to do it the same way that Elite does them. I wonder if Elite would do mine for me?

I like the ninja concept. I plan to get a set of black limbs after the powder coating is done. You know I have to look good on the 3d range, and what would look better than all black with the copper cams and accessories?

Yeah and the only color you would see other than black would be the fiber optic in the pins on a spott hogg sight. even black strings/cables. Maybee-R wants one.:cool:

I like the way you guys think--if they could somehow incorporate rubber into the powder coating,wouldn't that take care of any vibration noise and the need to have anything other than an sts(for string slap when wearing cold weather clothing).Heck,it might even keep the bow from feeling so cold to the touch in cold weather situations.:cool::)

I think they tried a coating in 06 and werent happy with the results.
I would think mixing in with the coating might be pretty hard to keep the durability up.
