I've got two 07 Synergy's and a Synergy XL on order and just wanted to know what everybodys using for a stabilizer on their Elites? I've currently got Doinker D2 multi rods in 7" but it doesn't feel balanced like it did on my Switchbacks. I like longer stabs but maybe with a little less weight. So what are y'all using?

Right now I have a Simms stabilizer, but it is just there until I find what I want. It works very well, but man is it UGLY.

I almost answered my own question by looking at the thread with all the posted pictures of peoples Elite bows. Alot of people have the Sims S-Coil on their bow:eek: Anybody using anything else?

I use a 12 inch doinker. Its not light though. But it works great for 3/d. I even use it for hunting but i can feel the down side at the end of a long hike.

This one is made by kodiak outdoors that I made longer by using old GT shafts.

I have AEP stabs on all my bows. I like the adjustable end weight.

10" Doinker is awsome too! (hold the smart comments!) I am also going to be playing around with some Doinker 10" carbon back bars off a shrewd bracket for my Buckmasters set up.....

JAX!

I loved my Wild Thing on my old BowTech but didn't want to put it on my new Elite. Everything else on my bow is Jax so just went with the stabalizer too! Haven't had any problems with it yet!

Is the S-Coil a "stabilizer" or a dampener? Does it help you guys aim better?

My S-coil on my Bowtech works for both. I have not shot my Snyergy enought to find out. But I bet it does both as well.

I've got a Woodsman II on the way in Fall Leaf to match my camo Synergy. If I like it I'll probably get a black one for my AT Synergy. I just have to figure out what I want for my XL when I get it.

Just realized I didn't post this the first time. I've been using a 8.5" 11oz B-Stinger and just got a 12" rod. Waiting on my Envy to return so I can compare.

Michael

No need to compare, the 12" will be bigger.

I use Simms s coil on my Energy but AEP setups on everything else. Gonna fool around with AEP on my XT when it gets here.

I think you will do better with your AEP. I like the stabilizers made by Doinker. It seems to make my bow hold better with the weight distribution and the shock dampening qualities help out as well.

I have a Posten stabilizer on order. I will post pics of mine when I get it. Its supposed to be shipping today, so it might not be until after the holiday.

The best part is, he uses the same fall camo as the 07's and some 08's have so they will match. Check out the Woodsman II's on his site http://www.jimposten.com

Simms Ex-press stablizer works great on my Synergy!

I received my stabiliser yesterday in the mail. It is a Posten one and although I was a little apprenhensive getting one of his with the "machine gun" look it is actually quite pleasant looking in its fall leaf camo. I tried it out today and got the feel I have been searching for since I got the Synergy in March. I did have to take two of the front weights off but I've finally got the bow to feel just like I like it:cool:

I was thinking of the Sims modular stabaliser but do you think that the S coil will work better on the Synergy X

Man, that posten stab looks good. I may have to get my B-stinger dipped to match mine better. It's heavy but works great. I've never been confident shooting as far as I am now. How do you like that posten for balance? I'd like to try one, but the BS is doing me good right now.
