The snow is great here in CO finally...over the past couple of weeks we have got a ton...I am trying to get out at least 2 days a week...fun stuff....

I don't board but I do ski. Our local slope opened up last weekend and I'm hoping to get up there soon. I've been thinking of trying the board.

The first day is a bit tough, but after that it is super fun..I have never skied, so I cannot compare...

Snow boarding was my life from 1988-1997, I know every inch of copper mntn. Matter of fact I could take you right to the deadfall that broke my tibula and fibula, and tore my ACL, MCL, LCL, and meniscus.:( Just aint the same anymore.
I will be going this weekend in steamboat:)

Been skiing for over 35 years. Worked as a ski instructor, Nastar pacesetter, then ski school director and race director and basically a ski bum for a good 20 years. Started snowboarding 3 years ago and man, I've never fallen so much in my life. Much harder than it looks. Too old for that stuff but I stuck with it and enjoy it now. Still ski and race more, but like to get on the board when there's fresh pow pow. :D

I ski but my son snowboards, I've been right beside him when he's caught a front edge and faceplanted so quick he didn't have time to close his eyes, so no I won't be snowboarding in this life. :cool:

i moved back to california for awhile before my wife and i married and i had a blast but i haven't been in 8 years..... so i'd be starting all over. but i see a lot of snow in my future so i'm sure i will again.:cool:

Elite@Last are you moving into one of those little round globe things with all the snow? What if the Snowman refuses to share space with you? You could be homeless and snowless.

i'd just punch the snow man in his carrot..... and over take him with the use of excessive force..
