I have to say when comparing the Z to the 500. I would choose the Z all day. Man this thing is quiet and smooth. Pics later, I am going to see if I can get Sara Palin to pose with my bow:yay_jump::yay_jump:

Really. I'd like to hear more about the comparison to the GT500 and why you think the Z is better.

You are my close buddy, but you seriuosly have some OCD issues. Your the only guy I know that trades as much as I do.
Happy you like the bow, and now it is time to drop a deer.

First thing I noticed when shooting it, the Z was much quieter. I will test the speed to see the difference today. It just holds better for me, when I say this I mean the string angle for my anchor and the draw length. They both are equally dead in the hand. The ATA is much shorter on the Z28 which makes shooting from my Viper SS stand easier.
When I shot it I actually looked at the bow and said WOW and called Scottie/PA and told him holy chit this bow is one bad machine. I didn't do that with the 500. I wish I would have just gotten the Z from the get go. This will be my last bow until the new version of the Z hits the floor. Well i might have to give a 27" Cuda a whirl.
Oh yeah, I put my rest on the Z and set the center shot to near 7/8 and ran the arrow almost parallel (w/ a slight nock high position) to the cable slide across the top half of the berger holes and shot a CX 3D Select 150 through paper and the first shot was a perfeect bullet hole. I said once again holy crap, can you believe that.

When I got my Z two weeks ago I took it out of the box slapped on a QAD HD, string loop, and peep. The first shot through paper was a freeking bullet hole! how great is that? What a bow. Can't wait til oct. 1st to put the smack on an Illinois buck...:woohoo:

I'd shoot either one of them all day long. They are both awesome bows for me the GT500 has a slight edge over the Z. I found both of them to be dead in your hand and both equally as quiet. Smooth solid back walls and hold on a your target like no other bow I've shot. Did I mention that they are very accurate. I had to stop shooting at the same spot on my Glendel due to arrow damage. Awesome bows can't go wrong with either.
