Ok, I have a bit of an issue. I noticed that the serving material on the string coming from the bottom cam is coming loose. I don't even understand why it would have come loose like it did looking at it. Its like it just came untied. Bow doesn't have a lot of shots on it either but does have two dead deer, lol. What should I do?

You'll either need to take it to the local shop and have them reserve it or order a new set of strings. If it's a nealy set of strings contact elite maybe they'll replace it?If you decide to go with new strings pm me I can help you out.

I had the same issue with my e-500 and was told by several guys that make strings for a living "unless your cams are digging into the strings itself you should be just fine".The serving on my bow appeared to be larger in diameter than the cam would allow and the serving was worn off.I'm still shooting it that way until my hunting season is over, then i'm gonna go with a set of Buck knasty strings(highly recommended by many, many of his satisfied customers.

That looks different than mine(my serving was coming undone at the loop).Yours looks like something sharp(burr on the cam?)cut into the serving.jmo.Looks like you could tie it off right there?

Thats what I did after I took the picture. I will have to see how well it holds now. I am pretty careful with my bows going to and from the woods so not sure how it happened. But still wouldn't think it should have come loose that easy.

It just came untied. This is why we use Nealy string/cables now. I hate continual problems.

I had a small incident with one of my cables (all my fault), however the serving on my cable started to come undone. I called Nealy, they said send it in and they would reserve it for me.

I don't think these are Nealy strings. I will be ordering a new set of strings after hunting season though. I would now just don't have the time to retune everything now.
