I just ordered 12 Treelimb quivers and should have them in this week. All have the black carbon fiber hoods.
I'm getting premium 5 and 3 arrow and regular 5 and 3 arrow. :thumb:

There's what they look like if you haven't seen them.

personally I prefer the kwikee combo quiver. The bh's float in the hood and don't have any dulling foam. The shafts are secured with two sets of grips. Anything with foam will dull bh's.
The other nice thing is the kwikee combo is on about 30 bucks.

I like the new dawn outdoors Vortex quiver, it holds the arrow in a tight circle, which doesnt create a "sail" effect from the vanes like other quivers do that hold the arrows side by side like a fan, its quiet, light, and 35 bucks.

foam of no foam?
No foam it has 2 grippers to hold the arrow firm.
Honestly its the only quiver Ive had that helps my shooting, as I shoot in the wind alot.

cool, foam sucks, I don't understand why companies continue to use it. Sharpen your heads to a razors edge and then insert them in and out foam. Makes no sense.
I do like the design although I never shoot with the quiver attached. Even on spot and stalk hunts I use a belt attachment.

I got a black carbon fiber hood treelimb premium 5-arrow from JCmorgan. I like it a lot, but will probably try putting some magnets inside instead of the foam.

I don't like magnets either. Don't want anything touching the broadhead.

The Treelimb Premium with the black carbon fiber hood is really sweet looking, not to mention the mounting technique it uses is really slick. Without a doubt, the best looking quiver on the market for the best looking bows on the market.:thumb:

I would agree with the magnets, there goes my sharp tip. I look for better function than looks.

What about heating up the broadhead, then pushing it into the foam. It would melt out a small spot that would cradle the broahead.

I guess its better but without friction it wont hold the arrows in place securely.
I just wouldn't use foam or magnets myself. Its a personal choice.
The cutting edge on your broadhead, is second only to your accuracy in importance IMO when it comes to bow hunting. The kwikee combo does it for me. I don't care what it looks like as long as it works.

Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback. I don't want this to come off like some kind of fan boy crap or nothin but If you want to quit worrying about the foam dulling your heads go buy ya some rage 2 blade and forget about it. I"ve shot muzzy's religously for about the last 12 years and I'm tellin ya the holes these heads put is stuff is just ridiculous.:thumb:

How about foam expanding blades? I shoot slick tricks, 3 arrow quiver! People talk how they can't get 3 slick tricks in the quiver. When I hunt their is only 2 in the quiver. It can be done! I just bought a tree limb quiver from jc morgan, premium carbon fiber look for my at edition gt-500! I see people with 6,8, 12 arrow quivers, for a short morning hunt, not me 3 arrows at the most.

The two piece octane quiver is really nice and it comes all black. My five arrow is on the heavy side but there is no foam and the arrows stay put because of the magnets. Best solution i have found so far.

I like the Octane quiver as well. I haven't noticed the tips getting dull since there is rubber between the magnet and the broadhead, but I shoot Slick Tricks and it would take a pretty good wack to damaged the tips. Also the rubber gripper is one of the most solid I have seen on a quiver. I hunt spot and stalk so I shoot with my quiver mounted and I have found the Quikee to be a little on the noisy side. I know Lonnie shoots Silver Flames and I'm not sure they would fit in the cutouts on the Octane since the Tricks
(125gr Mags) are just fitting. This is just what I have found so hopefully this will help some.

I know a lot of people love the rage heads. For me and my trophies I just refuse to take the chance with mechanical failure. I know 99% of the time they deploy the blades as advertised but I don't want to bargain my hunt time, effort and dollars to stuff outside my control, at least where possible.
Also, although i don't really care about hole size as I think its not materially important in either kills or bloddtrails I will attach a picture tonight of a slick trick whole that is very impressive.

I'm always up for seeing that. I have always been a firm believer in fixed blades but when see what hole these things put in stuff it's just unbelievable.
