Spotted a wall hanger tonight.

I decided to go for a ride this evening and check the deer where-a- bouts.
I live in a private community that only allows bowhunting. We've only hunted within the community for 3 years and limit the # of hunters to 120. There's about 3000 pre selected huntable acres.

At the top of a hill opposite a powerline cut was a 10 point that I guessed to be in the 120's typical. With a month to grow he'll hit 130's for sure.
I wish I had taken a camera. Next time I'll remember. I've seen him there 3 evenings out of 5 this week.
I got a better look tonight, he was only 20ft. from my truck. Now to get in the area and find an ambush spot.:slingshot:

As always anytime you have a weapon or a camera they disappear. Walk through the wood empty handed and they will stand there at 20 yards and stare at you.

My son and I were coming home from fishing(which suxed) last night and we saw a very nice 5 point whitetail about 4 inches outside it's ears and very tall,, looked like he was starting to lose the velvet too...
