Guys....If you have not tried one of these Gems, your missing out!
The Aigil has turned out to be my favorite hunting set up...I have a pin set for 60 yards and will use it if the opportunity presents itself! Smooth, fast and quiet....(easy to keep in tune too),What more could you ask for?
I'd like to hear some more feedback from Aigil owners..............

My Aigil plants my Rage two blade practice head hunting arrow dead center out to 60 yards.
I got cocky, backed off another 10 yards to 70 (laser assisted) with an elevated the sixty yard pin and dropped one in dead on! Short ATA bows can do what their longer ATA brothers can....From a treestand!
I have so much confidence in this bow...It has extended my lethal range greatly!

I'd really like to try one of these out. Hey BAArcher, do you know what kind of FPS you're getting?

"Just 1 More" clocked it for me before I would buy it. He shot my 325 grain target arrow at 63 lbs and got 306 fps with a 29" draw.
I have not chronographed my hunting set up yet but as soon as I get a break in the action, I will.

I would love to know what the bow would shoot IBO at 27" from someone who has chrono'd thiers.

The cam performance chart says for a 27" draw to expect 288-298fps

I know that. My aigil at 70 lbs is running a 404 gr arrow at 315fps but that's on the XXL riser and a 32 1/2" dl.

Shot and killed a doe at 50yds with mine
(In it's day it was arguably the best single cam bow built!!!!!!!!!!!)
then had her dipped NVG and put #3 Rev cams on her
she was a fine shooting single cam bow but though, but the slaved cam addiction got too much for me
a couple years ago there was talk about bringing out a single cam bow again but
things changed
apparently changed for the better but the single cam Aigil got lost in the shuffle

Just wanted to bring this back to the top since I'm in the process of picking an Aigil up.
Anything bad about these bows? I've heard they can run nock high a decent amount.

I have 2 of them ,, I going to retro the Aigil harness and Cams to a K&K Vengeance soon ,, I know a couple that have done so and picked up a good bit of speed and they have reported a way better feel at the shot over the stock Aigil .. One of my favorite Elites !

Wowsers! Is this a sure thing? I'm finding myself very interested in single cams again here lately and would love a new Aigil.

Sounds like a sweet shooter!
I'm thinking hard on giving mine a SS upgrade after bow season.

Nga - sweet shooting man. How is the draw and wall on it with a single cam? I've never owned a single cam before.

the wall on the single cam aigil is the same as most elites, has a limb stop so it feels pretty good. I prefer the SS over regular single cam though, I didnt care for the draw on mine so i swapped it over to rev's

I'm sure this has been covered before, but do you lose the warranty with the SS conversion?

Yes. Anytime you change the design of a bow it voids the warranty.

unless you switch it back. it only looses it's warranty as a "frankin bow". makes since right??? Elite bow= warranty, jack with it and make something else = no warranty.:scratchhead:
I HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL PARTS TO MAKE IT BACK TO AN AIGIL if i so choose.

Cams and riser probably wont feel the change. Limbs is another story though.

The Aigil was run side by side with a Bear Carnage when it first came out and the Aigil out ran it by 8-10 fps. I had my Aigil converted to a SS and loved the bow but it just was not an Envy.lol Sold it and my Envy to the same guy. The SS is still my second favorite Elite.
They are smoother from start to finish over all the other single cam bows I've shot.
The wall is what you make it with the draw stop and little cam rotation. Mine is rock solid which I love.

Good thing the original Aigil Limbs had to be replaced to get the poundage i wanted then huh?! (they are hanging on a hook)
I doubt she will ever be an "Aigil" again. she out shoots my Hunter.
