Kentucky Elk Hunts

Has anybody ever had there name drawn for a Kentucky Elk hunt? If so could they fill me in on the process of submitting my name. Do you pay and take a chance of getting selected or after you get selected you buy the tags? I got transefered to the Marathon Refinery in Catlettsburg Ky on the Ohio river and I was told about Kentucky Elk Hunts.

You'll have to wait until next year, they've already drawn for this year. You can buy a ticket for the drawing @ any sporting good store or on line starting in Febuary I think. Cost 10.00 and they drew 300 hunters this year, I think around 20,000 apply.
