1 eye open or both?

I wanted to see how many of you shoot with both eyes. and how many shoot with 1.
Personally I close my left until i get the sight ring centered and get achored then open it and shoot with both eyes open

I have both open unitl I get ready to aim and then close my left (shoot right handed).

I used to shoot with my left eye squinted but a pro told me I would be more accurate shooting with both eyes open and he was right. It took awhile to get used to but now it comes as 2nd nature.

One eye...ive been doing it that way forever. But now that I own an Elite, I have to practice opening the other eye faster so I can see the arrow in flight...

I start with just the one eye, to get the orientation correct, but like to shoot with BOTH eyes open. :thumb:

It takes some getting used to, but both eyes open is not only better, but much much safer!
For those of you that shoot with one eye, and then open the other one really fast to watch the arrow, you are really hurting your shooting!

Both eyes does take a little to get used to if you have been shooting with one, but I am definitely more consistent now that I use both

I Shoot With One Eye Open. Never Really Tryed To Shoot With Both Opened.never Had A Problem Hitting The Target That Way. I See How It Can Help When Shooting At Game. Will Have To Gine It A Try Sometime.

shooting at targets doesnt really make a difference to me but in the woods (especially in low light) there is a huge difference.

my Elite is so accurate I keep both eyes closed

I shoot both eyes open,i started out shooting instinctive as a kid with both eyes open and just naturally continued to shoot this way.I shoot a shotgun this way as well when hunting waterfowl.
