Any other Elite shooters going to Illinois next week to shoot the ASA event? I'm definitely the minority at all the local shoots around here with all the Bowtech, Hoyt, and Mathews shooters, so I'm guessing this will be the case at Metro. Just wondering who else will be proud to represent Elite.

Met John Hall, he was the only one I saw carrying an Elite. I finished up in 8th in Unlimited.

Likewise. Met some really nice people and learned a lot for my first ASA. I had lots of nice comments about the XL. The guys in my Open B group were great to shoot with and we had a good time even though we all shot horrible on marked yardage...go figure. We couldn't ask for better weather on Saturday and Sunday. Also thanks to Carter's Archery and Gale Carter for her support and encouragement. We missed having Mike there, but who could pass up an opportunity to hunt in Africa! I look forward to my next ASA event.

The ASA shoot was a blast, Jimbow and myself got to be Gale's chaperon for the weekend since Mike was killing animals in Africa. it was a great time, cant wait until my next trip. Saw a couple of elite's on the practice line - none in my group they were all shooting ye old "catch us if you can" stuff - and me with my bowtech. We had a great time hanging out with the Cracker String shooter crew.
Shooting local shoots wont be as much fun now - anyone that hasnt shot a big time shoot should do anything they can to get to one - they are freaking kick a$$
