Wow, showing my age. I haven't heard of half the bands you guys are talking about. I like pretty much most music except rapp (except a few) and hardcore grunge stuff. Not too much into screamo but I can listen to some a little.
Classic groups: Boston, Aerosmith, ZZ top, David Bowie, Journey, I even like Beach Boys and BeeGees.
Newer Stuff: I like a lot of the new and old country groups. Diamond Rio, Alabama, K Chesney, B Paisley, Martina etc etc.
Gospel: Starfield (their amazing)

The Southern Rock movement of the late 60's-early 70's really produced my most favorite music. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker Band, Outlaws, Molly Hatchet, 38 Special, Atlanta Rhythem Section, Point Blank, Charlie Daniels Band, Grinderswitch and ZZ Top to name a few. The road was paved for these bands by the Allman Brothers who after 39 years are still playing:2thunbs:

I guess my favorite would be Delta Blues. Jimmy Reed and many others. Many rock groups covered some of Jimmy's songs. B. B. King would be a good example of this music.
