Shot one tonight but had to call off search! It got dark and my small light combined with dry red leaves made it impossible to recover.
I hunt in some Army Corp of Engineer land that you must be out 1 and 1/2 hour after dark!
The temp will be in the mid 40's and I'll be back in the AM. Mid 40's should be ok for the meat.
