How do the bowjax string dampeners install on the string? Im guessing there is a groove for them to be pushed on, but not sure. Anyone who uses them let me know. Need to know if they go on the string before installation or if they can go on after the strings and cables are installed.
Thanks.

There is a hole in the center of them. They need to go over the ends of the strings or cables. I use a very small piece of wire to thread them on. They fit very tight and I have not had them move after installing them. Hope this helps ya...

There's a couple of different kinds. One style is like mfr22 talked about that slips over the end loops. They also make another style that is split up the side and presses on the string then you essentially zip tie it onto the string.
