Let me tell you, I was afraid to try to reattach them to my pretty Elite limbs until I read about using "Walmart" purchased 3M double sided tape. I recently gave it a go with the heavy duty outdoor tape and was very pleased with the result.
Before you attempt it, clean off the old adheasive and cut the tape to fit! Great results!

My experience is not from reusing them, but here it goes.
Bowjax original double sided adhesive is much stronger on the long term than Limbsaver is, in my own experience. It looks very simmilar to the "professional" double sided tape they use at the car repairing companies, which doesnīt look very simmilar to the "Wallmart 3M type" ...
Hope it helps,
Javier Martinez.

This tape I got was different than anything I have ever seen, it was thicker and more durable than regulae tape. It was made for outdoor applications....So far, so good!

May be there are more factors involved than the glueing properties alone (cleaning method before glueing was the same).
I tend to think that the brilliant mirror finish of my Barnsdale Bowman limbs helped my Bowjax to never fall off, not as the Limsavers did on my Martin Elite limbs. And may be that the vibrations on the Martin Cougar III with its Elite limbs and NitrousX cams were more intense than in my actual Bowman Accuriser II spot bow. Donīt take me wrong, this Martin CIII Elite is my actual hunting rig ;).
At the end, I am happier with the Bowjax, plus it is cheaper (wouldnīt mind opposite though). May be it is a virus, I have more rubber stuff attached to my spot bow than needed for sure !

Am I missing something or are you guys having trouble with them coming off. I've never had any come off. I use bowjax in the string and they work much better than the limbsaver type, they blew apart in no time. But as far as on the limbs, never had a problem.

Takum,
Why do you think Limbsavers started using cuts and splits in their stuff? Cause vibration engineering shows to make it exit and to split it several ways for optimal dampening.....Bowjax had it right from the beginning.....plus they use a hard solid core to centralize the vibes before dispersing the vibes for dampening. ;)
BowJax will also send you precut circles of the tape they use.
