View Full Version : Elite Envy: Kolorfusion Ninja done with Style......

Well guess what showed up from Kolorfusion Saturday, two of my bows that I sent to be done. I could only do one as I am still waiting for some parts for the SBH Energy with updated K8 cams but at least I could put my Envy together, and yes I think of it it as Ninja done with style.

I had to find two bows I wanted to do then call and get permission from Realtree to do them in AP Black, I also had a buddy go in with me (his idea for the AP Black and I went and worked out the Kolorfusion part) but I will let him debut his when he gets it all put back together.
I decided to try 8190 for the string and stayed with 452X for the cables so now I will see how it does but since it doesn't usually get above 85 degrees up where I live I am expecting it to work out just fine, the stop pictured is only temporary as I have a couple being anodized bronze so it will be a complete bronze set up. The Envy has exposed lamination's but the SBH will have the standard Elite limbs as that is all I had at the time since I am still planning another Kolorfusion Envy and they have to have the exposed sides to fit in the Envy pockets.
Thanks for looking.
Jamie

Yeah, the other bow is mine. We ent through some crap to get it done in this pattern and color, to do it with Realtrees permission but it came out great. The only problem is me having to wait another week until I get home to be able to put my two together. We started this back in November. After waiting this long and to know its done and I cannot get it together sucks. Nice work TA, came out great.

Turned out great, Jamie! I'd love to see it in person, my guess is pics doesn't do that pattern justice, even!
Those bronze components are outstanding on it, too!
Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the 8190 after some time.

A couple years ago I was decided a camo pattern with a black "base color" would look really sharp, but NO ONE made one. I think you have clearly proven my hypothesis correct. I believe if someone offered a good bow in this type of pattern, they would sell truckloads of them.

It would be nice. They told us that they had not thought of using this pattern (black) as a bow pattern before and thanks for the idea. I like it better than just all black. We were only allowed to do three bows so I sent another set of limbs so I can have a complete AP black bow and one with a bla k riser and AP black limbs. I could have had a dip job done without permission but I wanted a Kolorfusion job. They look better and hold up longer.

Figures they only gave permission for 3 bows. It will probably be a new pattern for 2013. That looks great with the black base coat!

My pattern! Oh my you actually found a way to get it done. Seen a few pics of Realtree APC last year and they had blue, red, orange, yellow, pink, and several other colors including black. Hope they approve the use as it looks awesome on your rig Jamie.

**** Jamie, I had read of Kolofusion but thought it was a company not this style. When I read the beginning that you had painted an Envy black, I was worried about you, but wow! Now I have another money pit to fill. Love the way it looks. Has the classic black look on acid. Being an old hippie, I am all over that and got to have one or two.

PS - when am I going to get my tricked out riser so I can blow a few minds myself?
That is pretty dang sweet Jamie.

Bob,
Pretty sure we will have all our parts back in a week or so. I know there were a few issues but it sounds like Jamie got everything straightened out.

Thanks JKK, the ninth Envy will be getting a remake here soon. I want to get the SBH Energy in AP Black put back together first before I start a new project, time will start getting tight with hunting season and strings orders so I will just have to wait and see.
