Hi Guys been gone for awhile. The story on the bear. Well I went north above the Arctic Circle looking for Brown bears for a week with absolutely no luck. Did not even see a bear. So on the way home I stopped to fill my bait station and found that this guy had been coming in and out for a few days. So I decided I would wait him out no matter how long it took. I set in that dam tree for 12 hours before that bear came in. Then as soon as I reached for my bow he blew out. It about took the wind out of my sails for sure. But 1/2 hour later I see him slipping through the trees about 30 yards away he came out in an opening to look my way and I was already at full draw and the rest is history. He squared a six foot really nice hide.

Try to come around more often dude...same with Dave and the rest of Alaska. Thanks for the bear story...its a nice break from reading all those stupid threads about worthless effin squirrels. Anyhow, how was the blood...get a passthru...death moan?

No death moan complete passt through only went about 50 feet and done!!!
Looks like I might not be from ALaska for much longer my be taking the position of Archery Education Coordinator for NDOW in Reno Nevada. But I will always keep my cabin up here for the great summers when I retire.
