So who's going to the ATA Show this January? Who went last year and how was it? I'm planning to attend this year and am pretty stoked about it, so I was hoping some of you who have already gone might give me something to think about until the 10th.

I will be in VaporTrails booth on Friday afternoon and all day Saturday just as I was this year. Look forward to meeting some of you there. I met a ton of AT members there at this years show. It's fun to be able to put a face with a name.

You know it's funny or maybe because I'm old and have been to so many sports shows. I left Vaportrails booth once Saturday to go to Carter's booth for a new wrist strap for one of my two shots and again after 5pm to go to the rest room. The rest of the day I was in the booth showing the LimbDriver to people and telling them how to set it up. I didn't leave the booth at all Friday afternoon. I really couldn't tell you what else was at the show. They asked if I'd like to take some time and walk around the show and I said no. Many AT members had said they were going to come by the booth to meet me and if they went to the trouble to meet me I sure wanted to be there to shake their hand and visit with them. I guess that was the highlight of the show for me. Meeting all those people I had only met over the keyboard before.

I have been to the last seven ATA shows.

Oh man, that first one was sooooo fun! I was like a kid in a candy store. What a hoot!

The second one was OK. The third one was work.

The last two were fun for me because I met up with bunches of friends and made my store managers do all the work.:p

when and where and what does it cost to go to this show?

January 10-12 (or there abouts) in Indianapolis, Indiana.

It is free to ATA members, but not open to the public. The purpose of the show is to allow manufacturers and distrubutors to sell to distributors and retailers in the archery business.

I'll be there with the Orion Archers staff. It will be nice to finally get to meet Jeff, Kevin and the whole gang at Elite. This will be my first ATA show and from the sounds of it we'll be pretty busy. Not sure how much of it I'll get to see, but I'm sure it will be a blast just the same.

This will be my third in a row. It's nice to see all the new stuff, but frustrating as well. Because alot of the products you see , you will want right away and you won't get for months. When you tell your customers about them , they want them now!!!Or they will change them or worse ,cancel them.

It is nice to meet the manufacturers and their teams. There are alot of good deals there too.If you can afford them. Spend as much time as you can, theres never enough!

Have fun and we'll see you there. I'm looking forward to Indy( a little more of an archery /hunting area I would think than Atlanta.)
