Been using a Tink's "Miss November" off and on all year for the past two years. Generally use it in the bedded position (can be standing as well). Will set it out in pasture while hunting coyote, or early bow season. Gives an easy visual to help keep things focused away. Later in the season will use it standing, either close to stand or up to 80 yrds upwind.

i will face the decoy towards my stand if it is a buck decoy so the live buck will circle to the face of the decoy and leave him wide open for a shot..as for a doe i just kind of set it out there broad side to me as a buck will come in to the rear of the decoy..i always make sure i have them scent free of me..and i use the proper scent on the decoy for the time of year or gender ..new to using decoys but they work

Cool, thanks everyone. I plan on using one in the corn field we hunt, while our ground blind will be along the tree line. So what time of the season is best to use it? Pre Rut? Rut? Post Rut? Late Season? Early Season?
