Any of you watch the derby saturday? I missed it but I guess they had to shoot a horse right there on the track in front of everyone after it broke both its legs. I guess they just threw a black blanket over it and took it out and now all the animal rights people are comparing it to fighting pitbulls like Mike Vick.

Yep.... I'm 99.9% sure they did it by injection though and not by whipping out a nine and cappin its arse.....

They shoot them behind the ear, like other livestock. Yeah, I doubt they used a glock 9 morgan. :tapfoot:

For whipping his horse. You know, unlike the other 20 jockeys whose horses didn't suffer 2 broken ankles.:kicku:

Yeah, they are crazy. No, PETA was insinuating that the horse was hurt and trying to pull up and the jockey kept beating it and pushed it to the breaking point.
On ESPN radio, Mike Tirico had a PETA spokesperson on his show the other day, and man did she make an *** out of their group. But, I'm sure they raised $10,000,000 or something. :hit_self:

PETA could better spend their time defending animals that truly are abused cruely...
