OK boys and gals, I have a 27" draw. What would be the ultimate Elite bow for me? Keep in mind that I have had two elbow surgeries and a shoulder surgery so I need something in the 60lb range that draws smooth.
What about an Synergy with Fire cams at around 60lbs????

Exactly, XL with Fire cams would be a great choice.

I don't know for sure, because I have not had a GTO or XL in my hands, but my guess would be a Fire. They are specifically built for shorter draw archers, so that would be my choice. If speed is your deciding factor, then the GTO may be the way to go.

Sorry to argue, but the GTO is supposed to draw smooth, for a fast bow, but not smoother than the XL. Kevin did say the the XL is their smoothest.

Is it as smooth as BAArchers $9.99 scotch?

He can get more speed and draw 8-10lbs less................

Surrounded by a bunch of Mexicans who won't give it up without a fight. Remember, we didn't win at the Alamo last time.

Man you guys get off topic quick.
Get the Fire. I'm in the same boat as you only 26.5" draw. I did the math between the GTO and fire, same dl and dw and they were within 2-3 fps of each other. The Fire is a little lighter and looks darn near the same as the Goat. The Fire is shipping now but you'd have to wait awhile for the GTO.

I would say get the Fire since it is designed for shorter draw lengths! I would assume that the speeds should be very close between the two.
