I was just checking and it seems Loesch makes after market grips for Elite bows.

I wonder if it would help with the draw length problem I am having? I had to set my DL shorter on my Envy than I do on any of my other bows.

Im not a big fan of the wood grips personally, I like a narrow handle. I actually run #4 without sideplates.
They look pretty cool though!!!

I like a narrow grip too, but my DL seams a little long on the Envy. If this grip adds some pad in the rear, it may compensate for the extra DL. That way I can but it up a little and get some more speed.

Normally I don't care about speed, but with the Envy has me tweaking to get more out of it, just to see where I can get it to.

Mine came a 1/2" long but after tweaking it its 1/4" long and a couple fps faster:eek:

I need someone to take some pictures of me at full draw, so I can see how it looks. It feels different, but good, and I hold very steady on the target.

Do you got a self timer on you Cam?
I use a dig camcorder.

I really like the look of that grip ultramax.
It looks as though it would set your hand to the correct position, I've had to add some filler to my envy to get the bottom of my hand up so the pressure of the bow is in behind my forarm and not at the base of my hand. (My thumb now points directly straight ahead excellent)
It would be the only thing about the elite's and other mdoern day manufacturers is the grips do not promot correct hand position they seem to have forgotten how the hand should sit on the bow.
Wouldn't it be great if Elite would machine the grip just alittle higher on the bottom.

I really like the way the narrow grip on the Elite's just seems to settle in perfectly, do those custom grips really help at all???

These grips are beautiful and look promising narrow.

The 1/4" less in DL would fit me excellent since I'm about to order an 08 XL in 32". The DL of 31.75" is my preferred DL and that way I can keep up the full powerstroke

They are actually narrower than the factory side plates.

Thanks for the compliment. My website should be up in the next 3-4 weeks. My web designer is back on schedule......
I just got my Synergy back together last night. Predator camo and a Curly Maple grip.

I got my grip from Johnson Grips here in Houston. He can do them in just about any style you want and almost any material. I have seen them out of stag horn. He will do 2 piece, 1 piece, hi-med-low wrist. He made mine while my Synergy was getting set up! He did most of the Lefty Synergy Grips for Elite this year too. Call Viking Archery 713-771-1281 and ask for Scott.

...these grips are awesome. I've had several grips made by Scott for different bows, and the one on my Synergy is perfect. At the top of the grip it's pretty much the same width as the side plates, but there's more meat in the grip down below where the thumb and forefinger wrap, and it's shaped just right to give me perfect hand placement for a perfect bullet hole without having to 'tweak' to get one. Mine looks identical to the one above. I won't have another bow without one of Scott's grips.

Unless you're fortunate enough to be within driving distance of one of these grip makers, you're pretty much in for a plane ride or a UPS delivery...
