Nothing worse than a :censored2: poacher. I cannot stand or will ever except the excuse that a poacher makes for his selfish:censored2: greed. My dad has hunted off on on with me for years, and would love to harvest a big buck. Everytime I hear of some :censored2: killing more than one buck, having grandma tag it, or some loser that has his kid tag a buck that he or she killed during youth season I get enraged. Love to meet a guy like this in the street. Punks and trash, lowlife scum,, to all poachers.

With all that said, Im a very positive person and Im taking delivery of my new bow today, a 2012 Answer and I will not let a scumbag poacher ruin my day. lol, Thanks for the post, its good to let people know that there is trash like this in this country, we should all kick a poachers :censored2: and we would feel a little better. lol.

$6500 fine to replace buck, up to 90 days in jail and loss of license for three years. That's what was said in the paper anyway! Game Commission scored the buck at 172", not bad for a PA buck!!

Do you have a link to the article or what paper it was in? Being a PA resident I would like to know more about it, like how he poached it. i.e. out of season, night, etc

I wonder if a punk like that even understands what he's taken away from legit archers and how it reflects on the hunting community. I wonder if this same guy would steel from friends, live off the goverment while being able bodied, and I just bet he might not even care about the meat. He's not around to stick up for himself, but he has a pattern of law breaking, immoral acts and could give two :censored2: about living clean.

Another thing really bothering me regarding a change in deer taging regs in ohio. Now the state of OHio is using a telephone and internet based tagging system. All one really needs is some personal info on family member and you can pretty much tag what you want.

I always like the fact that a guy or gal had to check a deer at a good ole check station. It kept some of the folks kinda honest. I mean you had to drag granny out of bed to tag a deer, now some loser just has to get grannies info and he's done. The old system kept some of the people a little more honest. Seems to me it's more of a white trash type of thing, uneducated people who have nothing better to do.

the system sucks, wish I had the :censored2: balls to go out and just turn folks in.

The rest of us who hunt ethically, follow up shots, stay with in our limits of game based on law, can be proud of our harvest and set great examples for our next generation. For the guy who poached that beutiful deer, "shame on you, sometimes I wish there werent laws to protect scum like you". I imagine if there werent, some of these Elite shooters might pay you a visit.

He shot a 5pt in archery season an then used the same tag on the big buck in rifle season. Was in either the York Dispatch or the York Daily Record.

Believe it or not, there was a guy on HuntingPA that was defending this scum. The quick version was he killed a 5 pt during archery and tagged it. I guess he was doe hunting with a group near TMI during rifle and shot this buck and reused his antlered tag! Then he posted it on Facebook and someone turned him in since he had also posted his archery buck on FB. A complete idiot!
