I put a QAD Pro Series LD rest on my Synergy and I shot it some yesterday and I'm getting alot of contact on the launcher arm...So much it started ripping the fleece padding off of the launcher. I'm shooting Blazers, cock vane up, and it looks to have plenty of clearence. I kept the stock launcher arm on it insted of the TL1 arm, I tired the TL1 but it looked like my top Blazer would hit the containment arm with it on...Should I try the TL1 launcher for more drop, or is my problem that the rest isnt dropping fast enough? I've got it timed to come up in the last 1" to 1.5" of the draw cycle so I cant really time it any faster or I wont get any support at all. I tired taking the pin out of the thumb wheel on the rest to increase the spring tension but I couldnt get the pin out no matter how much I beat on it. Any ideas?????

Try the other launcher, that is what I use on several bows and none of them hit the containment bar. My arrow is set even with the Berger holes.

You need the TL1 launcher. I shoot mine cock vane down with no issues.

QAD reccomends shooting cock vane up the main thing you want to check is that the rest comes to full uprite position and stops moving 1/2" to 1" from full draw this will allow for the rest to drop faster you may also want to use a longer cord this will make it drop even faster make sure your rest is level and your nock is at 90 degrees and you should be good. Now if you are getting side contact which is rare i have seen it once the guy was shooting an arrow that was way overspined and he had his rest way left to compinsate for the poorly spined arrow. It is better if the rest stops sooner in the draw cycle then later. If you have it set were it stops just as you hit full draw it will not drop fast enough but if you have it set to were it stops to early it will drop faster but you have to watch you full draw cam sync to make sure the rest cord tension does not throw your sync off.On a binary cam it is like everything else it haves it sweet spot but it is easy to find.Just for a reference i do not use the TL1 launcher and mine works fine.

Like Trophytaker said it's got to have tension on it at full draw. The only time I've seen any trouble is when there isn't enough pressue. I've had one on three bows and installed them on at least 8-10 others.

Like Trophytaker said, it's the timing of the rest. Make sure the rest cames up the last inch or less at full draw.

I had a similar problem on my GTO, I simply put on the LT1 arm and problem was fixed.
