I have a 2010 GT500. And from day one the setscrews in the stringstop seemed worn out. The closest standard size allen wrench seems very loose. They wouldn't happen to need a metric size allen wrench to fit, would they?
After adjusting a couple times they are so worn out that they don't stay tight very long.
What size are they? Would Elite send me a couple to replace them?

Do a search on the forum here. I can't remember what they are, but I picked some up at the local lumber yard to replace the factory ones.

I don't know what size they are for sure, but I did get replacements at my local hardware store. One tip I have it to get slightly longer replacements. The reason the stock ones wear out so easily is the hex hole is not deep enough. I got replacements that were slightly (about 1/16") longer and the head was slightly deeper. This means more of the allen wrench fits into the hole, resulting in less slippage. Make sure you don't go too long or they will stick out....

What he said. The ones I got were for sure 3/16" long. They fit perfectly, and have a deeper head in them, so you really can't strip them out. I want to say they were 10/32, but not totally sure.
