Tell you what, the more reviews I hear about the ANSWER the more excited I get. I absolutely loved the PULSE ATA and "slightly stiffer" draw but the 6" Brace did not like me. Now the ANSWER with speed mods sounds like a 7" brace Pulse! I have a feeling the ANSWER with speed mods will be wicked sweet, and I'll bet it will hold like a rock.

One day... One day, we will know for sure.
I can't wait for that day.

I want so badly to throw some of those cams on my Pulse... just to see... man, I have visions of what that could be like...

I think that there is a whole pile of people that can't wait for the speed mod Answer cams to come on the market...
They're going to be put on pretty much evry bow out there.

Hard to say, in the history of speed mods the valley is no where near as good, you don't want to creep at all. I know on the early ones there was only a 4 or 5 fps difference, so I'm interested to know how they got 10 fps and kept them shootable.
Don't forget that Pete said the Pulse is smoother than the Answer with speed mods, which makes a lot of sense. I've said it before as well if you struggle with the brace on the Pulse, add a tilt tamer to it, it makes it feel like a longer brace bow.

I can only hope the Answer with speed mods is a remake of the Envy. Very little valley and 67-68% let off. No creep is the best way to shoot anyway. Why is it taking two months to get speed mods? Surely they are not that hard to cut.

If I had to guess, it's because they moved all of their machine work to NY this year... probably a bit off of schedule. They have new cams, two sets of new mods, new pockets, and new risers to get done for the Answer. Since they're selling the Answer with smooth mods only, I guess speed mods are on the back-burner!
Pete says Dec. 1 for the speed mods. Can't wait to see what they're capable of!

Very few will shoot the smooth mods and then convert to speed mods without complaining about the terrible draw cycle and valley. Should have released it the other way around in my view. Much easier to go from harsh to smooth than from smooth to harsh. If this bow is the "Answer" to a speed bow why go smooth and slower first as they already have planty of smooth with decent speed. Now if it is a patent or some other issue fine but to not cut any speed mods now is silly to me.

IMHO, people pick up an Elite expecting a smooth draw. If a shop had an Answer with speed mods on the wall, my guess is it'll stay sitting that wall for the majority of the customers. Everyone is raving about the smooth right now, and I think it'll be what really sells this bow.
Sure, there's a crowd after the speed, but even with the speed mods, the Pulse is easier on the draw (according to Pete) and still rates higher. I think the Answer would be lost in the crowd if it weren't for the draw cycle... but I haven't shot it yet, so it's all just a guess right now.
I want to shoot it with both mods. As much as I like the speed, I believe the smooth draw and easy rollover are going to be a bigger benefit to the type of hunting that I do... this coming from a guy who raves about the Pulse being my favorite ever... LOL!
Also, I don't think this has been marketed as the "answer to the speed bow" at all... at least I haven't seen any intention of going that direction.

No its not marketed as "the answer to the speed bow" I don't believe. I think its more the Answer to everyones "wants" in a bow with a "speed" option. Pretty cool idea if you ask me. There will be a ton of "smooth" reviews here in the next few weeks I'll bet, we'll have to wait for the "speed" reviews.
