You do not have to be an IBO member. They will have a practice course you can shoot for 5 dollars and will contain 20 targets.

The main competition course will cost 25.00 and will be 40 targets. Scoring 11,10,8,5, and Zero for a miss.

Registration will be 8:00-5:00pm on Friday. You'll need to be off the course by 8:00pm. Same goes for Saturday. Sunday's registration will cut off at 11:00am, and you'll need to be off the course by 3:00.

We got the championship course set tonight, and it's a doozy. Lots of lanes that we've never shot before. There is a new section in the back with some great open field shots that are very Bedford-like.

We'll have registration in the normal spot inside the clubhouse plus a check in tent at the midpoint of the course that will send each group out just like a national triple crown shoot. We really hope that this will alleviate some of the back up problems that we had last month. You'll check in when you start, when you walk off either 20 target loop, and when you are done. We'll use double scoring just like a NTC shoot also, and groups will be busted just like a national shoot also. That means that a group of four that comes to the shoot together will need to have at least one stranged in the group, and that the stranger will need to be one of the score keeper.

And, every target on the course is a McKenzie target! Most are new, or very close to it!

Any questions, feel free to call me (937) 725-5008 which is my cell.

Jeremiah

looks like thunderstorms friday whats your policy of shooting in the rain or thunderstorms

Deer30
04-29-2008, 04:59 AM
If it rains we get wet. lol

The shoot will be 3 days. So we should be able to work around the weather. I would think that if there is a pop-up thunderstorm or lightning we will stop the shoot until the weather breaks. Then restart once the storm passes.

Tough shoot for sure. I ended up 366 after only being 1 down after 10 and 10 down after 20 and then the second 20.

I still feel good with that score considering the day.
