I'm curious what went on with the other 2012 Elite bows? Are there any noticable differences on the other new Elites? What about the grip, and mod screw depth? How about the draw stops? Anything?

I can't believe, at this juncture, that no-one knows if any changes have been made on the bows other than the addition of the Answer......WHAT?

Remmy, you're just late to the party.

Cable rod has a bend in it so you can customize fletching clearance and maybe reduce a bit of torque and cam lean.

Suppressor goes straight into the riser now, so the barrel has been eliminated

Cable rod and Suppressor now have a wedge-lock system for tightening... no more set screws!

Limb pockets have been modified, although I didn't catch exactly what has changed or how it improved the design.

There are now two sets of sight mount holes.

New graphics/coin.

One berger hole instead of two.

Specs and Cams are unchanged, so performance should be identical.

Don't tell Remmy about all of the rest of the changes though.

He is not gonna believe that they did to his beloved Pure. The 2012 is gonna be so much better. Makes that 2011 look like......well nevermind.

Remmy is gonna be shocked when he finds it. :dance3:

My lands to Mergatroid......am I gonna have to buy NEW or can I add the bent cable rod onto my bow? What about the other improvements? Can any make my PURE upgraded? There you go TCF, trying to smooth talk me into buying a new PURE. I am seeing right thru ya! But having said that, I am worried about not having the best bow on the market and that appears to be a new Elite PURE. Guess I'll wait a spell till all the Texans hand out their reviews on the new bows.........Where are ya 10Pt?

But they left the mods grey on the carry over models. Again, why update everything and leave the mods the same?

From a dealer's standpoint I am glad they left the mods the same..less money out for me.

I might be wrong on this, but I think the only reason the mods shown on the answer are black is probably because there are mod options and the other mods are probably silver. Admittedly, it's a guess at best, but I'd imagine this is so the mods are quickly recognizable as smooth or speed...

Other than grey mods I ask, why take away a burger hole? It gives no advantage and is really just an inconvenience for some who use both. Seems like a petty way to save on machining costs to me, and for those who don't know alot about elite might see it as a less advanced bow sence every other company has two.
