How many of you bought an Elite without shooting one first?

I bought a used Synergy without ever seeing, holding or shooting one, Glad I did!

Like most of us, no one has any around here... yet. I made up my mind that my next bow would be an Elite, I did shoot it, and that just sealed the deal for me. It was better than I expected.

I did it! I traded a Switchback for a Synergy first time out,, THen I bought another Synergy in AT version and traded up for a Envy,,, It's been quite the ride,,,, I only now would like to know find a way to convince the wife how badly I need this new GTO,,, lol

I did. I ordered an E-500 from Donna. They used to be very hard to get but after a little wait I got it and after I shot it for about a week I sold both of my Mathews bows.

My E-Force I bought direct as the nearest dealer was on the other side of the state back then. However I did shoot the '06 Tribute first and had an '06 Allegiance which were very similar to the Elites, same designer after all. :D

Some of those guys would be getting their noses rubbed in it and wouldn't even know it!
One of my biggest gripes is the "brainwashed shooter syndrome", for someone to be blind to other products, for what ever reason, only limits themself to grow.

I have to admit, I'd never buy a pair of shoes before trying them on, but I have bought 4 (and counting) Elite bows... I felt the first one was a gamble, but now the mystery is over. These bows fit me like a glove:D

...as a backup bow to my Switchback this April. I'd never shot one, the only dealer in the north Dallas area sux and I would never dream of giving them the business. So I bought one sight unseen from an AT member. Long story short, guess which bow ended up on ebay! I can't even shoot a Mathew's now, they feel spongy to me.

Not unusual for me as almost all bows I have bought over the years were mail order as there were no places that sold archery equipment within 100 miles of where I live.

I shot one first. BUT (does this count) I bought it the next day without every knowing anything about the company before holding their product. To me it was like taking a jump into the dark, I know, bad habit. I just like to research things to much. One of the best purchases I've made yet though.

I did. One glance at the sexy grip and I knew I would like it. I've always been a fan of slender grips on bows and the way the Elite was shaped along with the specs of the 07 Synergy, I just had to have one.

Bought both my Elites sight unseen. Bought lots of custom recurves and longbows without shooting them either and they're more money than most compounds. Never been dissapointed yet. Pays to do a little research though and talk to other owners.

I did. Bought my first Energy without shooting one. Then I bought another now I have 2 Xls on order I have not shot them. The closest Ive come to seeing one is on this website. Not worried. The wait is killing me though!

Drove over 2 hours to shoot one. I walked in the shop and 4 hours later walked out with 2...Now the rest is history.....

Can you imagine if there were Elites in all the shops. No one would buy anything else.
