The Grizzys look evil. Im going to get 1 pack this year to test out but Im planning on sticking with the good ole ST mags. They fly and kill great for me + Ive got alot of ferrules so all I need is extra blades. :2thunbs:

I'll probably stick with the original mags too but the new designs look killer!

Can't wait to put my hands on those. I have been real happy with ST so far. I am sure they will keep putting out good products.

I couldn't agree more.

I just can't convice my uncles to switch.

They love the thunderheads...

Wait until they see the holes in my deer this year.

I am going to make the switch to ST this year. I have shot the Simmons Land Shark for the last two years but can't get them anymore. I was going to step up to the G5 Stryker, but for $10+ less, I am going to try the ST's... At the end of this month as a matter of fact!

I liked the flight of the ST's just as good as the Strikers from G5.

But you get an extra blade cutting and a better price with the ST's.

WAIT until you see your first hole with one...

They have Simmons land sharks on sale at gander for $20. If you want some let me know, and I'll ship em to ya.

In my opinion slick tricks are overpriced---i can get almost twice as many muzzy heads for the price and muzzy has always performed well for me.:first::nahnahbooboo:

Believe me i used to be a muzzy man the slick tricks fly better and hold up better.

I shot muzzys for about 5 years or so but, when I tried STs I was impressed.. No more heating inserts and playing with them to get the muzzys to not wobble.. Just screw on a ST and go.. I am shooting Silver Flames this year but I would be shooting STs if it was not for the Silver Falmes...

I've SEEN too many issues with the Muzzys. I wouldn't shoot them even for free.

$22/3 is over priced?

I guess that depends on how much you value your arrow flight and the shot. I'd rather spend just a little bit more and not worry about poor flight and weak heads.

Most can also buy 2 PSE's for the price of one Elite, and you don't see that happening too much now do you.
I guess you pay for what you get.

I have been shooting Muzzy's but will be switching to ST because the blades are alot thicker. People have nothing bad to say about them. Also have you noticed he doesn’t advertise?!? FYI if you have a question use the e-mail on the web site it will go to the CEO/owner.

I've had MANY people tell me how bad slick tricks whistle while in flight---i suppose there's no truth to that either?:noidea:I have personally shot thru both front shoulders on a whitetail deer with a muzzy 100grain 3-blade---if you'll notice in my previous post i stated "in my opinion".

Everyone's opinion is welcome here. I'm glad too see you have had good results with the Muzzys. My Mushies bent in my foam target. I mean Muzzys...:loco:

Use what works for you. I use what works for me.

I dont have 'the whistle'. Ive heard of others that do though. I remember reading it had something to do with washers that hung over or were wider than the shaft. :noidea: Even if it had a whistle, it would be a non-issue with me.

I used Muzzy 3-bld 100s one year. I like the design and the price but thats about it. I consider myself pretty good at BH tuning but I just couldnt get Muzzys to group tight. I wasnt happy with the bloodtrails either. Out of like 6 deer, I think only one had a really good bloodtrail.

I think if your happy with Muzzys, you'll be ecstatic with some of the newer heads out today like Montec, Striker, Wac'em, Shuttle T, Wasp Bullet, Magnus,... Try some of the new generation of fixed blade heads out today...you'll be impressed. If you're a diehard Muzzy fan, Id try the new short MX-z. jmo!:fan:

I see slick trick copied the bone crushing tip that muzzy has always used?I think a few on here are trying to sell products to others without being upfront about it---you know, singing praises without ever having any real world knowledge of first hand results.Again, this is only my opinion.:tearhair::violinbeat:

Well I can't say enough about the ST's. A single 85 grain ST put the smack down on a 970 lbs. old bull buffalo. Then, 90 minutes later I used the same ST to take a small 40ish lbs. hog that we just happened to see coming our way while quartering the buffalo. At 27 yards, the ST hit that hog so hard it took a piece of lung half the size of a playing card with it into the stump it embedded in another 20 yards behind the hog... I am ST hooked!

The tip on a Slick Trick looks NOTHING like the Trocar tip on a Muzzy. You need glasses. Alot of BH manufacturers HAVE copied Muzzy's trocar tip, but Slick Trick isn't one of them.

I will probably test some of the 85 gr, heads when I get a chance. I know the 85 gr Montecs I tried didnt fly very well at ALL.

A five arrow group at 35 yrds 85 gr ST, impacted only 3/8" - 1/2" different than my field tip (how much of that was me and how much was the BH). I have had several people stand behind me when I shoot, and the arrow flies as solid, flat and straight as can be..

I didnt care for those either. My son shoots them and loves them.
I used some of MXracers Slicktricks at elk camp just to check them out.
There accurate. I will be switching to them this year. I have used the Wac'ems for three years. three for the price of 6 slicktricks almost.

Wac's Exits are the only other (or other brands) head I'd consider using...besides the new tricks coming out. Fly stright just like the tricks. My buddy shot them out of his Katera and we both dead nutz with both the trick and the Exits.

But they cost more so I don't see why I sould switch. 4 blades seem to fly better to me.

I picked up some close out 2007 Strikers for $20, along with some Hypershocks. We are going to see how these perform compared to last years tricks and sharks.

Flying straight and as quiet as possible...That's all that matters right?

Strikers look good and I bought some just because of that. **** things never flew well for me unless I used 4-5inch feathers. Makes me think they need the extra guidance so that the flight must not (FOR ME) be as good as the Slick Tricks.
