I like the Badlands superday pack, does any one have any opinions on other packs for bowhunting. Please bear in mind that I am in Africa and can only look at pictures on the net.
Thank you

Depends on the type of hunting you do. Daytrips? Overnight backcountry hunts?
I use a Eberlestock Just one pack.

Day trips from a centeral camp in the hunting area or farm that one is hunting from. So probably water, food, camera, fist aid pack, side arm, and bow tools for emergency repairs.
Thank you for the input, I appreciate it.

Most of us whitetail hunters just pack enough for comfort, you guys need some survival stuff! Side arm? Just call me an old wussy!

But I am old wissy that will never sleep on the ground again! An RV is the minimum I will go!

I have a Crooked horns day pack Not sure what the name is on it. but boy is it noisy in the cold. I nicked a branch with it and thought someone snuck up behind me and popped a bag. jumped straight up. I need one of the new Badlands.:)

Hello Maybee-R, I am on the other side of the temperature spectrum, Badlands make a pack for keeping heat off ones back but the reviews that hunters gave it were not so great. (I was reading the reviews available on the Cabellas web site) I think that the superday pack is the one for me. Only problem is that we do not have any agents in Africa. I have contacted Badlands and I will wait and see what transpires.
Thank You

Everything I need to hunt with fits into my Safari 3 pocket Cat Quiver. and it takes care of the quiver on the bow problem.

I need a bigger pack. I have to choose wisely what has to go and stay sometimes! Im a neat freak and want a specific pocket for everything!

I have a fairly good size scent lock back pack from Cabelas but am in the process of switching over. I recently got side bags for my climber and am looking to get a medium sized fanny pack that I can wear on the front going in. This, I hope is not gonna put soooo much weight on my back. When I have to strap my pack to my stand it all gets a bit too heavy.

I use the badlands 4500.It covers any pack option i have, full pack for out west bivy hunt, with removable day and fanny pack for day hunts and midwestern tree stand hunts.
I am sure there are many other great packs out there, the badlands is the only one i have experiance with.
