What a task!! Trying to figure out which Elite bow I want (all of them actually.:D) Then theres the sight, stabilzer, arrow rest, release, arrows, vanes, broadheads, quiver, etc.. etc...
So, let me start off with sights. Which one do you use & why?
Thanks!:D

When I get mine, it'll wear a Copper John Dead Nuts 2 Competition.
An exceptionally precise, yet bullet proof sight. Mutiple pin sizes available, with a four or six pin option.

I currently have a Trophy Ridge titan V drive on my Envy. It is a very well made sight. Easy to adjust but I think the Vital Bow Gear Star Track would have been a better choice in adjustable sights

Viper Preditor pro for me. I like the Sword sights but they were a little too heavy for me. I also shot copper John for a while and like them too.

1. E-Force= Flash point .019 5 pin
2. E-Force= Toxonics Crossbreed .029 5 pin
3. E-500= Toxonics K9 .019 5 pin
4. E-500= Toxonics M-38 Top Gun .029 5 pin
I like the BG Flash point and the K9 w/ .019 pins in brighter light.
I like the M-38 Top Gun toolless ball-click micro adjust.
The Crossbreed was on sale. lol

I was thinking of the Spott hog real deal but I am waiting on the bow (Synergy Extreme) before I buy anything- does any one have an opinion on that sight.

I have the spot hogg hogg it on 2 of my bows and love them. Like said before they could have been much brighter from the factory. I installed fiber optic material and that did help a lot. But it is a bullet proof sight and has very easy adjustments.

Couldnt have said it better. I have 3 micro apex 3rd planes. Ive tried a lot of the others and Sword is the one that works best for me. If you pick a sword contact arrowsandtargets.com you can pick pin colors and sizes and make any combo you want. I like the 0.19 pins.

I've got the Star Track on both of my bows now. I am considering changing to HHA in the near future.

I use the Sword Apex micro 3rd axis. My opinion may seam biased, since I shoot on their staff, but I will tell you my opinion.
I have not seen any sights on the market that won't get the job done. The thing you want to look for is pin size. I use a .010 pin in everything, but most would not hunt with something that small. All of the sights mentioned are good quality sites, just pick something in your budget, and give it a go.

How bright is the .010 to the .019 on the Swords?

Not taking shots at any other manufacturer, but.... I don't need a wrap.:) Sword makes a great product, and I do not beleive, dollar for dollar, it can be beat. The fibers are very bright, except for the yellow, but that is a problem with the color for me, and their sights come with lights built in on the the target/hunitng line.

Good call buddy. Accessories are such a personal preference anyway. There is no "best" because they are all good. Its just what feels good and works best for that individual on his bow.

I have a good friend that shoots for them as well. He has been pushing me very hard to get one. The yellow on my Viper was horrible too. I bought a Viper Predator Quickset Pro.....very disapointed in the quality. It was hard to set the pins on the Horiz adjustment cause the dovetail was so small and it bent there for never giving you a precise location...you always had to "guess" where your pins would line up at.

Guess you could call me old school.. I always loved the Copper John Dead Nuts 3 pin but only ever used 2 pins... but the pins were never really bright until I did a little modifying :D
now each pin has 12" of fiber with the top pin .029 and bottom .019
I filed & notched the housing and drilled 1/4" hole through the mounting bracket and inserted clear tubing. the fibers are doubled within the tubing

How bright is the .010 to the .019 on the Swords?
If you want to hunt with it, stay with the .019 pins.........My hunting sight is a Twilight Hunter with .019 pins in Green and Orange. They Glow very bright without the use of the light.

I just put a Toxonics on my Brother bow and I would have to say it was defiantly a best buy. He paid around 50.00 and it is well built good quality and has very bright pins.
