Yea ready laying in bed trying to forget about all the AT hoopla from earlier it came to me
Elites GTO stands for
Elites Gonna Take Over
Am I right guys?? Do I win the prize??

but, GTO stands for Gran Turismo Omologata.
First used by the the '62-64 Ferrari 250 GTO. Italian for "Grand Touring Authourity". Not the Pontiac muscle car.
The car that was the reason the Corvette Stingray and the Shelby Daytona Cobra were created to race alongside.
An amazingly fast car (for the time), that forefronted a new age in GT racing with it's speed, sophistication and styling.
