Just got in from Sure Shot in Alexandria City, AL and it was kinda odd cause the DWs were reversed on me. I shot the Hunter at 60lbs and the PURE at 70lbs. The HUNTER really impressed me......the draw was smooth and the drop off into the valley was non-existant. Its as if you suddenly was in it and can't recall getting there. The wall is solid and the 80% let off is amazing to the wall. It spit the arrow out with resounding speed and got a wow out of me. The 60lb HUNTER is plenty strong for hunting. Now, when I started to draw back the PURE at 70lbs, I realized why I shoot 60lbs. The start of the draw told me right quick like that I couldn't go that route. It would wear me down after about 20 shots. It was smooth and the valley and wall were great but its just a little too much for me. The camo was great as usual. I wasted NO time in deciding what I wanted........I ordered the PURE in Ninja, 29DL with 60lb DW. Now the wait is on.........hope its not 4 weeks but I can wait. Got a lot of art to do anyway.

Well, all I did was echo the thoughts of all them there Texas dudes. The Elites bring a smile to your face like no other bow.......I can vouch to that.

Thanks for the review. The more I read on these, the more I want one.

Its real easy to purchase one......I put 1/4th down and will pay the rest when it comes in. The more I look at the Ninja the more I love that color bow. The cost was right on what Pete said it would be. Mine was about $10.00 more than last years GT500, less than $800.00. I was pleased with the price and the bow overall. I love a 36"ATA bow.

I have recently developed some shoulder problems with my left arm (my holding arm) and have switched my limbs out on my Mathews Legacy from 70-60. I have shot the 2009 Z28 at 72lbs. and had to have the tech check it on the scale since it drew like a 60lb.

Doubt I'll make the Paris shoot due to living in Alabama now but that would be grand for sure. I think the PURE will be a bow I'll love to shoot even more than the GT500 and I loved shooting that bow. Can't wait to get it set up and going......How sweet archery is again and all my thanks go to Elite.

I might could work up to 70lbs but I don't really see the need for it. The 60lb HUNTER was a pleasure to shoot. I could shoot it all day without any wearyness. Great bow at 60lbs and I think it would kill any thing alive on this planet.....fast and quiet. I wish I had gotten to shoot a 60lb PURE but he didn't have one so I had to shoot the 70lb bow and I knew my decision to shoot only 60lbs was substantiated. I love that weight bow.

I don't think either of us thought about doing just that. He didn't have a sight or anything but a D loop and a rest on the PURE. He had a full set up on the HUNTER however. After shooting the HUNTER I was convinced the PURE would be a very good choice for me. The draw, valley and wall were what others had already expounded on especially by the Texas boys. Gotta believe and trust those turkeys! Anyway, even tho the 70lbs was a little tough on me......when I released it, I could feel the power of those 70lbs. Boy, did that arrow hit the target hard. Anybody that wants a hard hitting bow......they can't find a better deliverer than that bow. I was convinced after shooting both the PURE and the HUNTER that the Elites are gonna be tough to beat this year...

Glad you finally got to shoot them and Ninja is an awesome choice.

I've got NO doubts what-so-ever about which bow was best for me. The PURE is gonna suit me just fine.

Thanks for the review!

It would have been better if they had both the PURE and HUNTER at 60lbs. I love how the HUNTER felt pulling it back and the PURE will be alot like that or even better.
