I had John (aka Bucknasty) make me a string for my 90# Synergy and they are not only beautiful strings they are well made and a perfect fit. Great guy to deal with and will answer any and all your string questions. I believe Mike (Crackers) knows and vouches for him as well.

Here is an email him and I exchanged with all of his prices and contact info.

sheldon, the 90# bow needs 24 strands for both strings and cables - if you shoot it at 90# or want to.
the sb, if its a 70# bow i use 24 for the cable and 20 for the string - of 452x - which is my favorite.
i could have both sets out this tuesday if you order soon. elite synergy: 56 1/4" string length, 37 7/8" cable lengths works so far.
Here's my info and info request:
***I can take credit cards, ATM, and debit cards now, but you have to call me.

I take paypal at raz4446@verizon.net and MO to:
Mraz Enterprises, Inc.
c/o John Mraz
1115 Morgan Branch Rd
Marshall, NC 28753

(pls make check/money order out to Mraz Enterprises, Inc.)

If you don't mind, please include the lengths, colors, color serving, and the name of the bow in the note area of paypal or on a note with MO
(and anything else I need to know).
It makes it much easier for me when I'm laying out a day's work.

ALSO, I have BCY release rope/drop cord rope/loop rope (its all the same thing) in all the string colors. If you would like some to make your outfit match add $1.50 per foot and specify color(s) (if you order 5ft or more - $1/ft and you can mix and match colors if you'd like)

WARRANTY INFO

The strings are designed to self-destruct in case of serving separation, taking the bow with them, and leaving no trace they ever existed, all the while leaving the shooter unharmed.

Seriously, if they give you any trouble I'll take care of it.
phone 828 680 9862 (1pm-7pm EST)

Thanks, John

Yes, John does know about the 24 strands, he is doing some experimenting with that right now as several including myself have called him about strings for Elite bows.
He makes an outstanding string and his customer service is second to none.

I too have talked to him, he is making me a set for my GTO. I will have the strings in a week or so, but the bow is not due in for about 2-4 more weeks.

The guy makes you feel like you've known him for years when you talk to him. Great guy to deal with.

No from what I remember (don't quote me on this) but Kevin said that both need to be 24 or you will void your warranty. He said that they have done exstensive testing and there is nothing to gain, as a matter of fact I believe he said you could loose FPS

This is what I remember also, and he says yo also gain nothing by goint 8125 from 452x. Just what he said, and I have no reason to believe he is lying. The guy knows his stuff!

Hi Bucknasty it's about time you found your way over here. Welcome to the forum. By the way the strings you made for my 90# Synergy and Switchback came out awsome.

Imagine how I feel. I live one state away from where they are made and I only have one dealer in my state (Oregon) Nice thing is though I'm the only one in my town that I have seen with an Elite and I shoot a 90# so most people won't shoot my bow to know how great they are which gives me the advantage.

I just bought a Aigil and was thinking about getting a new string an cable so is it 24 strains for both on the Aigil as well?

All elite bows must have 24 strands on all strings and cables.I have done testing and on 22 strands i lost 3fps and gained a considerable amount of noise.Anything other then 24 strands will void your warranty.
