Will Elite be having a shooting staff for competetive archery? I have never noticed anyone with that title in their signature, so I assume there is not any at this point.

I used to recruit shooters for a company and what we looked for in Staff was not the best 3D or Spot shooter.
We were looking for shooters that everyone looks up to as an archer, Hunter and an overall approachable person that is willing to help others with archery. We wanted to stay away from the "Big Ego" type individuals that tainted the company name.
I see a couple guys on this forum I would sign up now based on content of posting....................

It would or should be considered an honor for anyone to be chosen to shoot for this company. Bruce is very savvy as well in his criteria for picking shooters.

I just can't figure which bow to shoot now? XL sounds forgiving but GTO sounds like easy shooting at a low poundage............

I agree it would be a huge honour to be asked to represent a bow company as a shooting staff member.

I think it will come in time, I was a rep for a company and the shops had slots just to promote locally.

In areas where there were no dealers, we would sign shooters based on a resume and interview (a resume can be misleading, the interview sealed the deal). More times than not, these shooters would lead to more dealers due to the positive product exposure in an area that was "target rich".

These shooters were the ones that needed to be the local "Go to" guys that knew their stuff. If you made a mistake and signed a shooter that had an ego issue and was thought of as a "windbag", it showed.

You could get your local dealer to sign you on as his staff. You might be able to talk him into it,....

Who knows, maybe Mr. Johnnymac is a pro-staff Elite shooter. I guess we will have to wait for someone from Elite to clear this up for us.

The last time I spoke with Brad on that subject matter, he told me there is as individual handliing that program.(Dan) is his name and Kevin and Brad turned that over to him. It is a program there now thinking about putting together. As far as getting a free bow as a shooter for Elite, that wont happen, there will be Pro Staff prices etc.....When I spok with Dan, he stated he is working out all the bugs on the program. I'm sure when it takes off Brad will inform all of us. Dan is in charge of the selection of Shooters in the North Eastern district.......
