ASA Illinois State Championship

New here, so hang on while I get my feet on the ground.

Black Diamond Archery is hosting the ASA Illinois State Championship July 17 & 18. Competition is open only to ASA members, but guests are welcome to shoot as a practice - $6.00 fee for 30 targets.
Targets will be all Rineharts. Yes, hard to believe beings this is a State Championship. We did our best to match the McKenzies on the national circuit. Different will be one standing stone sheep and the color of one mountain lion, black. Smallest, coyote. Largest 10 pt buck and mule deer. Will be a lot of deer - A and B range were matched with exception of 2 or 3 targets. One range will be unknown and the other known. Guests will shoot all unknown...

We got it done. By the ASA forums we put on a good/great shoot. Saturday was just down right hot. I shot late Saturday and right in the heat of the day. I did good on the Range A, shooting up. The heat got to me on Range B and I just plain gave up. Probably the only thing that saved us (me, especially) was the clouds rolled in and let loose rain. Of course rain doesn't go well for glasses, binoculars and scope lens.
