While waiting for a new arrow rest to arrive I started experimenting with a few different models and decided to give this one an honest tryout. Honestly, I was sceptical since I never really cared for the original DropZone that everyone seemed to love and I hadn't heard much about these newer rests at all.

I mounted it to my Judge and was pleased to see that it fit beautifully and looked really good on the bow. I then set the nocking point level using bubble levels and adjusted the centershot to halfway between 7/8" and 15/16". I quickly sighted in without running into any troubles with lefts or rights at longer distances. A few shots through paper at a friends house showed perfect holes without having to make any adjustments... I got lucky. :)

This rest is buttery smooth, dead silent, rugged and seems to be very well built. Fletching clearance is a non-issue for me, even with my experimental fletching job... six 1.8" 3D Duravanes on each arrow.

In short, I really like this rest. While I originally planned to use it only temporarily, I cannot forsee any reason to make a switch at this point in time. If you're in the market for a well built fall away and aren't concerned with a built-in containment feature, this one is definitely worth a look. I think it's a winner.
