Is there any thoughts of a cross bow in Elite's future. A recent shoulder injury my big man had has me thinking. If he is no longer able to hunt with his Synergy will he still be able to hunt using an Elite???

Did he tear something ? If not, Tell him to lower the "Man Poundage" , take Advil gel caps prior to the hunt.
I have had both shoulders repaired (tears) and they are fine now!

We get the MRI results next Tuesday thanks to the holiday! :)
So far the Doc guessed it to be a AC separation and a tore up rotator cuff. He actually bow hunted the day after the accident and got 2 animals but has been regreting that ever since.
We have just been talking and the thought crossed our minds on if Elite would ever go in that direction or not.

If Elite was planning to build a crossbow, I don't think they would leak the info yet... like the GTO, it's finished, but no specs are being posted yet.

If it is a tear, find a Doctor that can do it with a scope and get it done ASAP. I have had both of mine done and they are better than ever! Do not let them cut you open...Find someone that will do it with a scope! The recovery will be much easier.
BTW, Rehab for a shoulder will suck so tell Tim to get ready to "suck it up"! If not, we will all start calling him Timmy!
Good Luck

Just lay his bow on its side on a gun stock and add a release to it. Use WB rest to hold arrow.. there ya go.. all good now.

BruceBAA is absolutely right about the scope procedure.

I hurt my shoulder and was out for about 1 month the first time, then 3 months after I tried to come back too soon. If he needs an Xbow the excalibur line has an excellant price/performance ratio.

I knew a guy in Boy Scouts that was in a wheel chair and had only one arm; he shot with his teeth (leather tab). If that doesn't make him stop feeling sorry for himself then nothing will.
I would like to see a crossbow from them as well, and I would love if it put down Bowtech's Stryker:p

If you were unable to still shoot a bow, but still prefered a bow over a crossbow I've seen a few alternatives that will hold a compound at full draw that you can draw with your feet. I did a quick search and found one.

I've seen a few others as well that could probably be customized to fit any bow you want.
